8 Nights / 9 Days Explore Beautiful Nepal with Pashupatinath and Muktinath Tour

Today we visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Janakpur. Early in the morning, we proceed to visit Ram Janaki Temple. Perform Puja, admire the beautiful view, explore the surroundings and go back to the hotel. Relax and have breakfast. After breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to Janakpur Domestic Airport flight for Kathmandu. Once you arrive, transfer to the hotel. Check in procedure followed by welcome drinks. Relax and have tea/coffee in the hotel. In the late afternoon, we drive to UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu among 7. Boudha Nath Stupa- which is probably the largest stupa in the world. Boudha Nath is also known as little Tibet since the area is inhabited by the Sherpa people from the Himalayas. We visit different monasteries. There are lots of shops selling Nepalese products. After that we proceed to Pashupatinath Temple- biggest and holiest Hindu temple of Nepal situated on the bank of Bagmati River. We get inside the main courtyard and do darshan of Shiva lingam and visit many temples and shrines around the main courtyard. (Foreigners other than Hindu cannot visit the main courtyard of the temple) We can witness the cremation on the bank of Bagmati River. We visit Deer Park crossing the Bagmati River, Guheshwori Temple- one of the Shakti pith of Sati Devi. Drive back to the hotel.  Overnight in a hotel.

Today we are heading towards naturally beautiful Pokhara city. After early breakfast we check out the hotel and drive towards Pokhara. We drive along the Trishuli River enjoying the beautiful landscapes of mountains. On the mid way we stop at Kurintar for a delicious lunch. After that we continued our drive towards Pokhara along the Marshyangdi River. Upon arrival in Pokhara we checked into the hotel. If time permits we go boating on Fewa Lake and visit Barahi Temple; otherwise we do this on another day. Overnight in a Hotel.

Today we drive towards Jomsom from Pokhara. Jomsom is the classy route of the Annapurna Region, which leads to the deepest gorge in the world, The Kali Gandaki Gorge formed by the mighty Kali Gandaki River cutting two massive Himalayas Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. We will have lunch on the way. Resume drive through narrow but scenic landscapes along the Kaligandaki River will take us to Jomsom. Admire the natural beauty with snowcapped mountains and feel the chill wind in Jomsom. Overnight in a hotel.

Today is the most important day of our trip. We are reaching the salvation place, Muktinath. Around 1hour scenic drive along the Kali Gandaki River brings us to the jeep stand of Muktinath. From there we walk for about 30 minutes to reach Muktinath Temple, which is admired by both Hindu and Buddhist. Perform Puja and get blessings. Visit Jwala Mai (self-originated fire) just below the Muktinath Temple. We can see stunning Himalaya's view including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m, 7th highest peak). Then have breakfast. After that we departed to Pokhara. Lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Pokhara transfer to a hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Today we explore the beauty of Pokhara city. After breakfast, we visit Davi’s fall- named after the Swiss tourist called Davis after her death by being swept away due to the unexpected overflow in the dam of Fewa Lake. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave- where a big lingam is situated in the middle of the cave and can see the waterfall of Davis fall from the deep of the cave. Peace Stupa- the symbol of peace situated on the hillock. Enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna range and bird's eye view of Fewa Lake and Pokhara city. After lunch we visit Bat Cave- the dark cave where lots of Bats reside.  The small hole at another end of the cave challenges you to come out. It's fun as well as thrilling to try it. Seti Gorge- the deep gorge flowing the water of Seti River so furiously which cuts down the land so quickly. Bindabasini Temple- situated on the small hillock from where marvelous Mt. Fishtail can be seen. Along the Bindabasini temple we also visit Ganesh Temple, Saraswati Temple, Radha Krishna Temple and Shiva Temple. Overnight in a hotel.

Early in the morning we take excursion in Sarangkot to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. Sarangkot is one of the best and easily accessible viewpoints of Nepal. We will be delighted by the bird's eye view of Pokhara Valley with Fewa Lake and the close up view of soaring mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Drive back to the hotel and get refreshed.  After breakfast we drive towards Kathmandu along the Marsyangdi River and Trishuli River, enjoying the beautiful scenery. We take lunch on the way (On your own). After around 6 hours’ drive we reached Kathmandu. Overnight in the hotel.

Today we visit 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu among 7. After breakfast, first we drive to Swaymbhunath Stupa, standing erect in the hillock offering a 360 degree view of the city. Swayambhunath is a popular ancient Buddhist pilgrimage site, also known as the Monkey temple, which is the oldest stupa more than 2000 years old. Swayambhunath is the white dome with a gold conical shape on top painted with the watchful eyes of Buddha. Besides the main Stupa, we visit peace pond, Harati Temple, Shantipur, Pratap Malla Turm, Agnipura, Nagpura, different monasteries, chortons and temples. Then we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you will get stunning views of ancient temples, houses and palaces. We visit palace of Malla and Shah King Dynasties, Kal Vhairav- deity of justice, home of living goddess Kumari and if lucky we get blessed from her, Maru Ganesh- one of the four main Ganesh Temples without pinnacle on the roof and many more legendary temples and monuments. Drive back to the hotel. Overnight in a hotel.

Today you are free till the departure time. You can stroll around the touristic hub, Thamel area and do last minute shopping and purchase souvenirs for friends and family. Or just relax in the hotel memorizing our tour. We transfer you to the Airport 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight for your onward journey.
